I have two sons medical doctors, thereby has great concerns on said bill. The contents of said bill are so essential to all medical graduates in terms of their career development. Madam, as a parent who had experienced financial hardships in medical schools, I fervently appeal for the immediate approval and passage of the bill thru your efforts. My two sons love very much to serve the Filipino people evidence by their not going to U.S. to practice their pre-med courses (both are physical therapist, however, the medical residency program in the Philippines is so unhealthy not worth the tuition fees spent and the services they render at the hospitals. I am happy that you choose this advocacy to prevent climate change. But I am bothered with the word of our President that we are not to be blamed but the rich and industrialized nation. Maybe because we are barking on the wrong tree as the root cause of the problem. I believe no amount of effort can attain solution to this problem unless we realize that we are just too many for our Planet Earth. Four decades ago I can see the big difference in the population, climate and temperature from today. Likewise, our needs before are simply food and shelter. But now new necessities had been added such as private houses in subdivision, cars, TV set, Cell phone, computers, shopping malls, and wide roads and so on. Every human being, always claim he has the right to acquire all of these things being created in the image of God and should be a creation of dignity. We can't blame if people build houses and subdivisions on top of the mountains around Metro Manila valley where supposedly these mountains, like Antipolo and Rizal should be all Forest and full of trees so that rain water will not all flood on the lower apart of the valley as Marikina, Cainta, Pasig, Manila, Q.C, etc. We are just too many and our Mother earth is telling us that though she gave us fishes, animals, plants for our consumption and thereby reduced their quantity, we are so hard headed to accept that we need to also reduce our quantity. Four billion and growing much is too much for mother Earth! No amount of relocation can we do since these people, aside from their reasons that have their livelihood here, there are no more places for relocation as every place are already crowded. Look at the provinces: trees had all been cut in the mountains to build shelters to the people; Mining is necessary for construction materials such as cement etc. I believe every politician whose advocacy is to combat climate change must first be an advocate to population reduction as the final solution to global warming. All countries in this planet should get together and work on zero population growth rates. This does not mean No birth but the birth rate should be less or equal to death rate. Only then can we successfully combat climate change.
