Episode 4 titled, Ani (Harvest), will take on the harvest rituals in different parts of Luzon in celebration of our agricultural heritage rooted in our respect and care for the environment. Scientists, agriculturalists, and farmers share the marriage of science and folk wisdom as the audience get to witness the traditions of the planting seasons still being practiced today.

The proposed Plastic Bags Regulation Act (Senate Bill No. 430) of Senator Legarda aims to strictly regulate the production, importation, sale, and use of plastic bags. This measure discourages the use of plastic bags and encourages the use of native reusable bags made of organic or recycled materials, and reusable containers made of glass or non-toxic and non-hazardous materials.

Senator Loren Legarda today hailed the enactment of a law that will strengthen the conservation of 97 ecologically critical areas in the country. The new law signed on June 22, 2018 is now known as the Expanded National Integrated Protected Areas System Act of 2018 (ENIPAS) under Republic Act No. 11038.

The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) today (July 4, Wednesday) unveiled the 5th language marker in the country in Occidental Mindoro with the support of the Office of Senator Loren Legarda.
“This started as a vision to immortalize the diverse languages of our country. I am proud that this nationwide project of the KWF that seeks to identify areas where languages originated from has taken off and this is now its 5th installation,” Legarda said.

The third episode, “Buklog”, looks into the grandest and most complex ritual of the Subanens of Mindanao that reaffirms their profound gratitude for the blessings that they received, healing from an illness, reception for a new home, burial rites, greeting an honored guest, recognition of a new timuay (leader), and even rites for a dead infant.
