I rise to express my full support for Senate Bill No. 1534, An Act Amending Republic Act No 8439, also known as the Magna Carta for Scientists, Engineers, Researchers and other S&T Personnel in the Government.

The passage of this bill is essential as we seek to further recognize the important role of scientists, engineers and researchers by providing them with all the support that they need.

In view of the foregoing reason, passage of the said measure is earnestly requested.
