June 7, 2020

The Office of Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda, in partnership with the Office of Governor Rhodora Cadiao and the Provincial Tourism Office, today launched the Libre Uli Antique ni Inday Loren Legarda kag Gov. Dodod Cadiao.

The Libre Uli Antique program aims to repatriate Antiqueños who are stranded in Luzon, due to the enhanced community quarantine amid COVID-19.

The first batch of 500 LSIs will be repatriated today, June 7, composed of students, displaced workers, and construction workers. They will be transported from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange via Jasper Jean Bus to Batangas Port. From the said port, LSIs will be transported to Culasi Port via FastCat vessel.

The Office of Deputy Speaker Legarda will facilitate their transport from PITX to Batangas Port, while the Office of Governor Cadiao will welcome them upon arrival in Culasi Port.

The said program will have several batches of repatriation this June to bring Antique LSIs back to their home province. Details will be announced in the upcoming days.

“In these trying times, we will make sure that Antiqueños who have been stranded will finally be able to come home, safe and sound to their families,” Legarda concluded.
