Legarda provides PPEs, medical equipment, supplies to Antique frontliners

Through the initiatives and efforts of Deputy Speaker and Antique Lone District Representative Loren Legarda, Personnel Protective Equipment (PPEs) and medical supplies will arrive today in Antique via private plane.

Partial delivery of the PPEs and medical supplies includes protective suits for the doctors and health workers, 50 protective medical goggles, 46 thermal scanners, and 21,000 masks, which are personal donations of Deputy Speaker Legarda to all hospitals of Antique.

“We can not wait for the limited and scarce supplies of the DOH to be sent to Antique. We will not allow our doctors, nurses, health frontliners to put their lives at risk. So I decided to send my personal donation of PPE for the hospitals of our province”, Legarda stated.

The distribution of medical supplies and PPEs to the hospitals will be facilitated by the Provincial Health Office and District office Staff of Deputy Speaker Legarda.

Legarda assures that another batch of medical supplies and PPEs will arrive soon  to be distributed additionally to frontliners and hospitals in Antique. Her office has been providing alcohol, soap, zonrox to lgus, as well as daily food provisions for the frontliners in the border check points.
